DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN
My client are looking for a Diagnostic skilled Vehicle Technician to join their company.
Location of the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Master Technician / EV Technician / Hybrid Vehicle Technician: East Sussex
Salary of the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Master Technician / EV Technician / Hybrid Vehicle Technician: £40,000 - £45,000 pa (however willing to go to £50,000pa for the right person with all skills or a Master Tech)
Hours of work for the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Master Technician / EV Technician / Hybrid Vehicle Technician: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:30pm (Half and hour for lunch)
Job Description for the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Master Technician / EV Technician / Hybrid Vehicle Technician:
My client is a JLR Specialist, who have been operating for 39 years. They have a great team of people and some mechanics have been there for over 25 years.
They are in search of an experienced technician to join the team. My client is looking for someone that is able to work on their own or as part of a team, and someone with an advanced diagnostic background, at Dealer Level. IMI Level 3 trained is advantageous, this is not essential though.
The role would consist of:
Carrying out Diagnostics & Fault finding
Routine Servicing & Repairs on all JLR products
Be able to work on hybrid vehicles.
Maintain a good level of efficiency without compromising quality
Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in a timely manner
Carrying out Vehicle Health Checks and liaise with service department your findings.
Accurate use of the in-house systems
The ideal Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Master Technician / EV Technician / Hybrid Vehicle Technician will have:
An experienced Vehicle Technician with advanced diagnostic skills (Dealer Level)
5 years uninterrupted service in a similar role.
To be able to work unsupervised in a well-equipped workshop as well as be a Team Player and assist colleagues as and when necessary.
Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to both colleagues and customers on occasion
A full UK driving licence is essential.
