Job Description
3. Manage all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and re-mortgages.
4. Provide expert legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
5. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
6. Conduct title checks and resolve any related issues.
7. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties as required.
8. Ensure all transactions comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
9. Maintain accurate records and case management systems.
10. Support colleagues and provide input on complex cases as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Residential Conveyancing Solicitor should have:
11. Qualified solicitor in Scotland with 3+ yers PQE in residential conveyancing.
12. Strong knowledge of property law and relevant legal regulations.
13. Proven ability to manage multiple transactions effectively.
14. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
15. Exceptional communication and client service abilities.
16. Proficiency in using case management software and legal research tools.
