At Nescot, we are recruiting for a Lecturer in Travel & Tourism to join Nescot College based in Epsom, Surrey. We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and hardworking lecturer with Travel & Tourism Industry, Aviation and/or Cabin Crew experience to join our department. Travel and Tourism is taught by experienced, passionate and dedicated specialist lecturers and is a popular choice at Levels 1, 2 and 3. We run well-resourced programmes, including domestic and international trips to enhance the curriculum. The team has fostered local partnerships to develop exciting opportunities for learners. NESCOT has a fully equipped cabin crew room and is developing new projects to further build vocational and employer links across sectors. New facilities are available to support technology-enabled learning.

Responsibilities
* Plan and develop innovative teaching, learning and course materials for allocated or new units on the Travel and Tourism courses.
* Deliver essential knowledge in a high-quality manner across each course group.
* Assess written and practical coursework, whilst maintaining organised records.
* Act as a tutor for one or more groups of students, delivering centrally required tutorials.
* Maintain registers, monitor attendance and promote learner welfare to ensure successful outcomes for learners and the college in relation to achievement, retention and positive progression.
* Contribute ideas to establish exciting links with employers, guest speakers and travel enrichment opportunities.
Requirements/Qualifications
* Experience in Travel & Tourism industry, aviation and/or cabin crew.
* Ability to deliver across Level 1–3 Travel & Tourism programmes and to engage learners with well-resourced, industry-aligned teaching.
* Willingness to incorporate technology into learning and engage with employer links and enrichment activities.
