Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm? Our Finance Team are seeking a Finance Systems Manager. The Role
The Finance Systems Manager will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the firm's finance systems.
* Lead a team of six to provide support for Finance and Risk departments
* Ensure system integrity and manage core data structures
* Assist in streamlining processes and improving accuracy
* Identify and agree on system changes and new features
* Participate in IT change control processes and monitor developments
* Work with with suppliers and external consultants for systems support
* Ensure compliance with SRA rules and accounting policies
* Help the Director of Finance and the Finance team with ad hoc requests
* Engage in routine project work for system developments and upgrades
The Candidate
The ideal Finance Systems Manager will have the following qualifications and skills:
* Experience managing a team of systems analysts in a legal practice
* Proficiency with Elite 3E and Intapp risk management solutions
* Strong data analysis skills, including advanced SQL and Excel
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
* Knowledge of finance procedures within a legal practice
* Staff management and project management skills
* Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
