We are partnering with a large, private equity-backed Professional Services business to appoint an Interim Head of FP&A for a 5–6 month engagement.
This is a high-impact role focused on upgrading FP&A capability, improving reporting quality, and embedding a consistent commercial finance framework across a complex, multi-entity environment.
The Role
* Lead group FP&A across a large, multi-division business
* Define and implement a commercial finance framework across regions and service lines
* Drive finance transformation across enterprise performance, reporting, and planning
* Upgrade board and Exec materials (“better materials out”)
* Improve visibility on group costs, offshoring, and client delivery economics
* Leverage data and analytics to enhance insight and consistency
Key Priorities
* Step-change in quality, consistency, and insight of outputs
* Establish clear commercial ownership across the business
* Improve transparency on profitability, cost base, and delivery efficiency
* Embed scalable, forward-looking FP&A processes
Candidate Profile
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Proven experience leading FP&A in a large, complex organisation (ideally Professional Services / PE-backed)
* Track record of driving FP&A transformation at scale
* Experience implementing commercial finance frameworks across multiple business units
* Strong understanding of group cost structures, offshoring, and delivery models
* Gravitas to operate at CFO, Board, and investor level
* Hands-on, pragmatic, and able to deliver pace in an interim setting
