Job Description
3. Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies to support organisational objectives.
4. Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and value for money.
5. Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with relevant public sector regulations.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and offer tailored solutions.
7. Track and report on key performance indicators related to procurement activities.
8. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies within the supply chain.
9. Provide advice and guidance on procurement best practices to key stakeholders.
10. Ensure all procurement activities align with organisational policies and ethical standardards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Lead should have:
11. Proven experience in procurement within the public sector
12. A strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and compliance requirements.(PCR 2015 and PA23).
13. Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
15. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
16. A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in procurement or supply chain management.
17. Proficiency in using procurement software tools.
