THE OPPORTUNITY Join a well-established and expanding Procurement function within a leading international business. Take ownership of drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts of varying complexity and value. Work closely with procurement teams and key stakeholders across the business to deliver commercially sound and compliant solutions. Provide specialist advice on data privacy matters including data processing agreements and cross-border data transfers. Play a key role in enhancing contracting processes, policies and best practices to drive efficiency and consistency. Partner with internal teams including Office of General Counsel and Information Security on compliance and risk matters. Support the development of procurement colleagues and contribute to broader team capability. Act as a trusted legal advisor, enabling informed decision-making and proactive risk management across the business. Be part of a dynamic, evolving team with genuine scope to influence and shape processes during a period of growth. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE. Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, ideally including technology and procurement agreements. Solid understanding of commercial law including contract law, data protection and risk management principles. Experience gained in-house or within a commercial legal environment would be advantageous. Able to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced setting. Strong drafting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Able to manage competing priorities and work autonomously when required. Professional, discreet and solutions-driven in approach.
