Lead Clinician – 3 Dimensions – Somerset
Located in 3 Dimensions School, Somerset, TA20 3AJ. We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in‑house Clinical Team.
Key Details
* Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 DOE (depending on experience and clinical discipline)
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
* Contract: Permanent (may discuss flexible or part‑time options during term‑time)
* Location: 3 Dimensions – Somerset, TA20 3AJ
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the in‑house Clinical Team, working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Clinically lead the team and provide therapeutic interventions for pupils with autism, neuro‑divergence, developmental trauma, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
* Coordinate and monitor the embedding of whole‑school and bespoke clinically informed approaches and interventions.
* Lead on the service development of the clinical school‑based service alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Ensure safeguarding and a person‑centred, empowering approach for all supported pupils.
* Produce clear and concise reports relating to clinical and research activities.
Essential Criteria
* Qualified Practitioner Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist or Psychotherapist (at least Level 7).
* Valid and up to date professional registration and membership of relevant professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Knowledge and understanding of EHCPs.
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or complex needs.
* Experience in providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred).
* Ability to work independently, dynamically, and within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
