Role: Assistant Property Manager
Location:
Eastbourne and surrounding areas
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (with flexibility)
Pay:
£28,000 – £35,000 per annum

The Requirements:
* Previous experience in property management or a similar role
* Excellent telephone manner and clear communication skills
* Competency in property management systems for reporting, data input, and record keeping
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
* Understanding of landlord/tenant legislation and housing regulations
* Ability to handle tenant concerns and issues proactively and professionally
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
The Role:
* Conduct routine inspections to monitor compliance with property standards
* Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs, including evictions when necessary
* Oversee property maintenance, liaising with contractors for prompt resolution
* Complete weekly inspection reports and maintain detailed property documentation
* Serve as the first point of contact for tenants, handling queries and complaints professionally
* Respond to safeguarding concerns and support vulnerable tenants
* Maintain accurate records for all accommodation units, focusing on temporary housing
