Director / Managing Director – New Business – Private Equity & Financial Sponsor Client Coverage
The client: Global Corporate Advisor – a highly regarded team of industry experts serving top international private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, blue‑chip enterprises and leading legal practices. The advisory team has consistently expanded market share while guiding clients through complex corporate actions, mergers, acquisitions and crisis resolution.
The role: Director / Managing Director – New Business – Private Equity & Financial Sponsor Client Coverage. The position supports the firm’s strategic growth plans by expanding private equity and financial sponsor client coverage and driving new business and client origination. Successful candidates will bring deep networks in front‑office banking, legal, private equity or consulting, and a proven track record of originating and managing relationships with sophisticated buy‑side clients.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute commercial strategy, targeting new market segments and white‑space opportunities.
* Build and nurture client relationships, ensuring continued success and organic account growth.
* Identify, negotiate and close new business and referral opportunities with private equity and financial sponsor clients.
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align commercial objectives and deliver on performance metrics.
Qualifications:
* Extensive network within investment banking, legal, private equity, or consulting sectors.
* Proven experience in originating and managing private equity, sovereign wealth fund, infrastructure and equity investor relationships.
* Credibility in discussing markets and global affairs that influence deal flow.
* Demonstrated success managing client relationships through transactions and complex corporate actions.
