Responsibilities
* Support young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a small home caring for four individuals aged 8‑18.
* Provide compassionate day‑to‑day care and help promote independence and self‑care skills.
* Assist the Registered Manager in running the staff team and overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of the home.
* Update care plans, report information and keep accurate and relevant own documentation.
* Communicate effectively with other staff and share key information about care and needs.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential and Childcare (essential).
* Previous experience within a residential childcare setting (essential).
* Full UK driving licence (required).
* Good safeguarding and DBS training; willingness to undergo safeguarding screening and provide at least 2 recent references covering the last 3 years.
* Resilience, Communication, Organisation, Caring and Attentive skills as essential characteristics.

Salary effective April 2024, £14.00–£14.15 per hour and average of 8 sleep ins per month at £55 each.
