We are seeking aCommercial Finance Assistant to join our Finance team on a 1 year fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting our Commercial Finance function by raising invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing day-to-day support to our commercial and sales teams.
This role will help ensure timely billing, accurate reporting, and smooth communication between finance and operational teams, directly supporting the commercial performance of Clearway Technology.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Financial Administration
* Raise and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
* Ensure all billing data aligns with contracts, sales orders and agreed terms.
* Maintain records of invoices, payments and account reconciliations.
Commercial Support
* Liaise with the commercial team to resolve queries relating to invoices, contracts or payments.
* Support the preparation of commercial reports and summaries as required.
* Assist with contract documentation and financial administration for new and existing clients.
General Finance Support
* Maintain accurate records within finance systems and spreadsheets.
* Support month-end processes and ad-hoc reporting as required.
* Contribute to process improvements to enhance invoicing and reporting efficiency.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role.
* Strong numerical accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
* Experience with finance or ERP systems (desirable but not essential).
