The role
will also provide opportunities for developing wider business development, line management and mentoring skills, and for project management. The team support projects in the power, mining and environment sectors which are key areas of growth for the business.
The Role:
Duties will include the following:
1. preparing EIA Reports and EA water environment assessments to support planning applications;
2. undertaking Water Framework Directive Assessments;
3. undertake Private Water Supply risk assessments / Water Interest Surveys;
4. design of surface water monitoring programmes;
5. undertake surface water monitoring;
6. managing and preparing flood risk assessments to support planning applications;
7. preparing outline SuDS concept designs to support planning applications;
8. undertake client liaison and project management; and
9. training and mentoring junior members of the team.

What you will need
We are seeking an individual who:
1. has a relevant academic training (HNC, HND, BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng) or equivalent;
2. is professional and can communicate effectively;
3. is working towards chartered status with a relevant professional body;
4. can think analytically, reframe problems and identify solutions;
5. can work as part of a team and on own initiative;
6. builds strong, lasting relationships with others;
7. is effective at managing their time and has a “can do” attitude; and
8. holds a full, current driving licence valid in the UK.
9. experience on renewables and linear development projects would be beneficial but is not essential.
