Vaccination UK has been commissioned by NHS England since 2015 to provide school-aged immunisations, including Influenza, to pupils across numerous counties in England and all boroughs of North London. We are also tasked with outbreak response and providing the infant BCG programme in North London.

Job Details
Job Title: Call Centre Agent
Contract: Bank
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (from September to December, covering the flu season)

Job Purpose
The post holder will be responsible for improving vaccination uptake by obtaining informed consent via inbound and outbound calls under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Support team to ensure smooth service delivery
* Assist in daily operations of immunisation programs
* Handle calls/emails from parents/carers for vaccination bookings
* Coordinate community clinics as directed
* Work towards KPIs to meet targets
* Participate in team meetings
* Undertake other duties as appropriate
* Follow company policies and procedures
Experience/Skills
* GCSE level education or equivalent
* Understanding of informed consent principles
* Knowledge of GDPR principles
* Experience in call centre or customer service roles
* Experience in healthcare setting (desirable)
* Polite and clear telephone manner
* Bilingual in English and another language
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Good time management skills
