Bank Decontamination Driver - Ramsay Sterile Services North West - Bank Hours
We are now inviting applications for the post of Bank Driver to join our busy team at Sterile Services North West, Preston. We are seeking a competent individual to work in our Sterile Services Unit. The primary driving role will include the collection and delivery of medical instruments from/to four of our local Ramsay hospitals, along with other site-related duties.
A full driving license is required for this role. The successful candidate should be flexible regarding their working pattern, as this position involves working on a casual basis to suit the needs of our unit.
The role includes:
1. Removing trolleys of sets/instruments from autoclaves
2. Scanning sets/instruments into trolleys and producing dispatch notes
3. Loading trolleys into company vans, ensuring they are not overweight
4. Driving to various hospitals and unloading trolleys
5. Collecting dirty/used sets/instruments and bringing them back to Sterile Services
This is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling shifts available in our hospitals. Bank contracts are ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your availability and providing a way to secure additional income alongside other work.
