The role
This is a unique role working within our busy Cashiering team with the opportunity to get involved in a variety of tasks. We are looking for someone with an excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy, often under pressure and/or time constraints. Ideally, the successful candidate will have around 5 years experience within a law firm or similar, where client account exposure is required.
Typical duties and responsibilities include:
Monitoring client accounts and posting receipts in a timely manner
Performing bank reconciliations
Raising BACS, CHAPS and cheque payments
Credit control, including contacting clients
Checking and processing bills
Other cashiering and accounts tasks as and when required
Identifying and undertaking training and development as required in order to meet personal and business needs
Undertaking any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the efficient running of Myerson

The team
Our Finance & Accounts function is crucial to the success of Myerson by providing efficient financial support to all departments. The Accounts team consists of talented professionals with an extensive combined experience working within the legal sector, so the successful candidate will be well supported in their role.
Our legal cashiers are a small and collaborative team, so the ability to effectively communicate and develop good working relationships, both with team members and the wider firm, is essential. The ability to take initiative and be pro-active would be advantageous whilst working in a smaller team.
