Pay: Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Hours: It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
Availability: The availability windows show the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We support flexibility for our colleagues, so if your availability is close but not exactly the same as the advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.

* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Applying training to ensure we work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering in-store routines that meet their needs.
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Being knowledgeable about store performance and collaborating to drive service, sales, reduce waste and deliver profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Living Tesco values, being welcoming, and following policies.
* Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.

* Ability to build rapport with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
