We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team due to a number of exciting new projects across the Industrial and Residential sector, with upcoming projects throughout the West Midlands extending up to Nottingham.

What You’ll Do
* Oversee the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create cost‑effective and efficient designs.
* Manage the project design budget and timeline.
* Work closely with the client team liaising on multiple projects.
* Maintain effective communication with the customer on all agreed actions to ensure any issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
* Lead design team meetings and provide regular updates to senior management on project progress.
* Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and industry regulations.
* Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the design and construction process.
What We’re Looking For
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Design Manager for a main contractor.
* Experience of working within the construction industry, specifically on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects.
* A good knowledge of current CDM and Building Regulations.
* Experience managing document management systems.
