Student Wellbeing Advisor – Fixed term (1 academic year)

The salary banding for this post will be 11 – 14 which ranges from £27,532 to £30,119 per annum (pro rata). The actual starting salary for this post is £23,898 but may be negotiated based on experience.
Overview
We are looking to appoint a self-motivated and enthusiastic addition to support our Welfare and Skills team to develop and co-ordinate support for students with welfare and mental health difficulties, along with being a member of the college safeguarding team. This position will be predominantly based at Studio 79 (Church Gate/St John Street, Leicester City Centre) with some meeting time spent at the UR campus to interact with the team.
Responsibilities
• Develop and co-ordinate welfare support for students with welfare and mental health difficulties.
• Contribute as a member of the college safeguarding team.
• Work across contracted provisions and interact with campus teams as required.
• Provide confidential administrative support related to welfare and safeguarding activities.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 A Levels, with English and Maths qualifications.
• Previous experience of working with young people with administration and confidential capacity is essential.
• Experience in an educational environment is desirable.
