Northumberland and North Tyneside Universal Crisis Team are delighted to be recruiting into a clinical lead post within the Older Person's Pathway.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic clinician with suitable leadership experience, who is motivated to join the collective leadership team.
Responsibilities
* Provide day to day clinical oversight of the team, ensuring safe, effective and efficient care to service users.
* Collaborate with operational and clinical leadership across all three pathways of the universal crisis team, with a focus on the Older Person's Pathway.
* Act as a role model, guiding the team to deliver high quality standards of care and respond to service demands.
* Demonstrate excellent older adult mental health and safeguarding knowledge; apply robust assessment and risk‑management skills.
* Provide clinical advice, individual and group supervision, and contribute to appraisals.
* Deliver in‑house training to the team and wider services when needed; embed clinical standards.
* Lead and support monitoring of clinical performance via audits and work with Team Manager to improve quality and outcomes.
* Manage organisational, time‑management and delegation skills to adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications & Skills
* Senior clinical experience in older adult mental health.
* Extensive knowledge of safeguarding and older adult mental health practice.
* Robust assessment and risk‑management capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a leadership team.
* Strong organisational, time‑management and delegation abilities.
* Commitment to diversity, inclusion and the values of the NHS.
