Overview

NHS Scotland is seeking a Business Support Assistant to join our team. This fixed-term role is based at the North West Area Centre, Western Road, Kilmarnock, and is available until 31/3/27.

What you will do

You will provide a comprehensive, confidential secretarial and administrative service to East Ayrshire RADAR Service and Learning Disability and Elderly Mental Health Services based in North West Area Centre.


Knowledge, Training and/or Experience Required to Do the Job

* SVQ Level III in Business Administration/IT or equivalent with secretarial experience and proven minute taking experience.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.
* Experience of working in an NHS environment with an understanding/experience of NHS networks is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
* Ability to work unsupervised whilst using your own initiative; able to work to challenging timescales by organising and prioritising your workload and having the flexibility to adapt to change and last minute demands.


Hours

18.5 hours per week.
