Care Home Manager / Nursing Home Manager / Registered Manager
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Salary: £41,000 - £45,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Home Manager or Nursing Home Manager to lead a beautiful, small nursing home in Burnley.
This architecturally stunning home provides high-quality elderly care within a warm, welcoming environment and has built an excellent reputation for delivering person-centred care. We welcome applications from both Nurse Qualified Managers (RGN/RMN/RNLD) and experienced Non‑Nurse Managers who have a strong background in elderly care and care home leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and day‑to‑day management of the home.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and resident wellbeing.
- Lead, support, and develop the care and nursing teams.
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards.
- Manage staffing, quality assurance, audits, and occupancy.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain excellent care outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous management experience within a care home or nursing home setting.
- Extensive experience supporting elderly residents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Good understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Passion for delivering outstanding person‑centred care.
Desirable
- Active NMC Pin (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager, or Care Home Manager.
