Role Summary
Join the Application Support Team within the Transformation Service Line at Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS). The role focuses on supporting clinical staff through application and system support, primarily handling calls and maintaining accurate logs.
Responsibilities
* Answer telephone calls from clinical staff and other stakeholders.
* Log calls accurately using the call logging system.
* Provide desktop support for Microsoft Office packages.
* Assist with patient‑based clinical systems (desirable).
* Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and data confidentiality issues.
* Maintain a calm, professional manner under pressure.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in a customer or patient‑focused environment.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft desktop packages.
* Advanced telephony and keyboarding skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and data confidentiality matters.
