Technical Architect - Power Platform
Location: Stafford or London (Hybrid: 2 days office‑based)

The Role
As a Technical Architect, you will own the end‑to‑end architecture and governance of Power Platform solutions across enterprise programmes.
You’ll define platform strategy, lead solution design, and provide technical authority across multiple teams. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you’ll balance innovation with compliance, performance, and long‑term maintainability.
This role operates above delivery execution, shaping how solutions are built rather than building everything personally.
What You’ll Do
* Own enterprise platform strategy & solution architecture
* Design and govern multi‑environment architectures (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod) at scale
* Establish and enforce governance frameworks including DLP, security, and CoE operating models
* Define ALM, CI/CD, and release management patterns for Power Platform solutions
* Provide architectural oversight for Dataverse, model‑driven apps, Power Pages, and integrations
* Lead design reviews and govern technical decisions across delivery teams
* Define integration patterns including APIs, Azure services, and data platform connectivity
* Partner with security teams on conditional access, auditability, and compliance controls
* Act as technical authority for architecture risks, constraints, and trade‑offs
* Coach and mentor engineers, developers, and consultants across programmes
What You’ll Bring as a Technical Architect
* Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Senior Engineer operating at PL‑600 level
* Deep understanding of enterprise Power Platform architecture, governance, and ALM
* Strong Dataverse expertise including data modelling, security, and solution management
* Experience defining CI/CD standards using Azure DevOps and Power Platform Build Tools
* Track record of leading architectural design across complex or regulated environments
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior non‑technical stakeholders
* Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (FSCM)
* Understanding of dual‑write and complex data integration patterns
* Knowledge of Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management)
* Exposure to compliance frameworks and enterprise security standards
