About the Role
We’re looking for a Digital Communications Support Officer to join our fast-paced, creative team. This role is more than just content creation; it’s about bringing the work of the council to life in a way that connects with people, tells real stories, and makes a difference to communities across Lincolnshire. In this role you’ll be at the heart of our digital presence, creating engaging video and photography, shaping content for social media and web, and turning ideas into compelling stories that resonate.
Responsibilities
* Capture and create engaging video and photography for the council.
* Shape content for social media and web platforms.
* Turn ideas into compelling stories that resonate with audiences.
* Use editing tools proficiently and experiment with new formats.
* Spot opportunities to create timely, relevant content across a wide range of campaigns, events, and services.
* Support website updates and analyse performance to improve digital engagement.
* Stay ahead of digital trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
* Work agilely in a dynamic environment, responding to changing priorities and finding creative solutions quickly.
* Collaborate responsibly within a local authority context, balancing creativity with accountability.
Requirements
* Valid full UK driving licence.
* Ability to travel independently across Lincolnshire.
* Fluency in spoken English (Part⁰7 of the Immigration Act‐16 Fluency Duty).
* The role does not offer skilled worker visa sponsorship due to recent changes in UK immigration law.
