Drivers Mate Here at HireGiant, we're looking for an experienced Drivers Mate for a position with our well-established client based in Aston, Birmingham. This particular company is well known on a nationwide basis supplying alcoholic beverages across the UK. We are needing Drivers mates to support their current Class 2 Drivers with unloading and loading a mix of pallets, cages and kegs to reputable customers across Birmingham. The Drivers Mate will be placed on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity of Temp to Perm. The Role: The Drivers Mate will be required to work Monday to Friday ongoing. The work starts immediately and involves assisting the driver to make multi drop deliveries of kegs of beer, cages and pallets of beverages to restaurants, pubs & clubs across the Midlands. This job involvesa lot of manual labour which will require you to be happy with lifting. Requirements for this role: The Drivers Mate will require: their own transport to and from Aston Birmingham Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest Must have previous experience in a similar position in a fast paced enviroment Hours & Pay: The start timewill be 06:00AM Monday to Friday (some Saturdays too), the Drivers Mate will work upwards of 45-50 hours over a 5/6 day period - Monday to Friday. The Drivers mate hourly rate for this role is: £12.21 Per Hour - Monday to Friday/Saturday PAYE Over time rates may be available in Peak.
