The Role
Our Activities Facilitators play an integral role within the Communities Team, focusing on planning, arranging and facilitating the Carer training, skills and development programme, Gloucestershire based.
The role is responsible for planning, arranging and facilitating Carers groups, evaluating session attendance and programme content, liaising with Carers to understand programmes and courses to support wellbeing or individual circumstances and maintaining relationships with internal and external providers. The role will involve development of new sessions as well as delivery of virtual and face to face sessions.
What are we looking for?
You should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate across a range of individuals. You should be confident in using IT systems including Microsoft Office packages and video conferencing software.
You will ideally have experience within the health & social care, voluntary/community sectors, or have previous experience in a Carer position or working with Carers. A trainer qualification or willingness to work towards one with the support of PeoplePlus is desirable.
