Job Description: CAMHS Support Worker

Overview:
ProMedical is currently recruiting experienced CAMHS Support Workers to join our esteemed NHS & Private client in Preston. Due to increased demand, we are offering both day and night shifts, allowing for flexible scheduling in advance. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated CAMHS Support Workers to provide compassionate care and meaningful support to children and young people in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred support to children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
* Assist with daily living tasks, emotional regulation, and therapeutic engagement activities.
* Monitor wellbeing, recognising changes in presentation, behaviour, or mental state, and escalate appropriately.
* Support the implementation of care plans and risk assessments in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team.
* Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safeguarding standards in line with NHS & Private policies.
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months' experience working within CAMHS or supporting children and young people with mental health needs.
* Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and de-escalation techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient approach.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
* Flexibility to cover day and night shifts as required.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Pay: £15.90-£23.00 per hour
