Opportunities
We’re looking for Programme Managers to work across various product teams which include Mk16/Mk18, Pyro and Legacy portfolios, having full responsibility for a range of projects, providing updates to customers, and coordinating internal resources and teams to deliver project requirements.
Embedded across the Martin-Baker organisation, you’ll support each client with defining project objectives and proposals, allocating tasks and programme schedules, updating the project management system, forecasting and prioritising deliveries for ejection seat production, preparing statements of work, coordinating resource requirements and cost data.
These are varied roles that will enable you to shape project delivery milestones, providing technical guidance and oversight with engineering/manufacturing teams, customers and suppliers. If you have extensive project/programme management experience, we’ll consider you for senior programme management roles within the Programmes function at Martin-Baker.
Based at our Denham campus, we offer hybrid working after six months of employment.
About You
You’ll have proven project management experience, understanding of engineering disciplines (design/test/manufacturing) and new product initiation (NPI) knowledge.
You’ll understand how to engage and build relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams, also bringing demonstrated negotiation experience to the role.
Strong interpersonal skills are needed with experience of interacting, presenting and providing updates to project stakeholders. You’ll understand how manufacturing projects/programmes are successfully organised and delivered, able to multitask priorities within engineering environments.
