We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and service-focused individual to join the team at The Alverton Hotel as Bar Server. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional service, creating memorable guest experiences and maintaining high standards in a busy bar environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests.
* Prepare and serve drinks to specification, maintaining quality and consistency.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, responding confidently to guest requests and queries.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation behind the bar and within service areas.
* Support restaurant and events teams during busy periods when required.
* Assist with stock replenishment and maintaining bar organisation.
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
* Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred, full training provided.
* A friendly, positive and proactive attitude.
* Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
* A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
