Early Years Practitioner
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join an excellent nursery based in Haywards Heath. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with a level 3 qualification or equivalent and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in the nursery setting. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.
Salary: £26,500 - £30,500 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Haywards Heath
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
* Build a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
* Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Manage daily routines and ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
* Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education.
* Follow the EYFS practice.
* Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to child development.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience and overall nursery environment.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification in childcare/early years or equivalent.
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their needs.
* Ability to drive initiatives that foster children's growth and development.
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.

The successful candidate is expected to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
