Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate Freight: Manage and oversee the transportation of goods via road, air, and sea across the UK and EU, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
2. Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK and EU customs regulations for all shipments, navigating the complexities of customs procedures.
3. Partner with 3PLs: Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to improve warehouse performance and accuracy, ensuring effective inventory management and order fulfilment.
4. Optimise Logistics: Focus on reducing logistics costs, improving lead times, and enhancing operational efficiency to support strategic goals.
5. Lead Logistics Coordinator: Lead and support a Logistics Coordinator, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and external logistics partners, building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
7. Performance Reporting: Track and report key logistics metrics, using data to influence strategy and improve performance.
