Location: Newtownabbey, UK
Salary: circa. £35,000pa (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am-5:30pm

My client is looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their team based in Newtownabbey. You will have the opportunity to develop your career in Freight Forwarding, being an integral member of a rapidly growing Freight Forwarding Company.

Manage the day-to-day Air Freight and Express operations, start-to-finish.
Raising Job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork.
Extensive supplier and client liaison and negotiation.
Managing the jobs from quotation stage to final invoicing in line with the client expectations and communicating effectively any service issues.
Proactively contacting the existing clients to maximise business potential.Requirements:
Previous experience in or knowledge of the Freight Forwarding.
Experience with Customs and using CDS.
Excellent customer service.
