Job Summary
We are seeking a Private Client Tax Director in Trowbridge to manage a portfolio of high net worth individuals, families, and family offices. This role involves strategic tax advisory, client relationship leadership, and team management, covering complex personal, trust, and corporation tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver private client tax services, including IHT, CGT, trusts, residence and domicile, and family investment company planning
* Act as the lead adviser for high net worth clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant advice
* Advise on tax implications for landowners, rural businesses, and related services
* Lead ad-hoc advisory projects and provide guidance to junior team members
* Support business development and generate new client opportunities
* Mentor and coach team members, reviewing work and promoting professional development
About You
* Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with extensive private client experience
* Strong background in wealth planning and high net worth client management
* Deep knowledge of UK personal and international tax legislation
* Commercially aware, proactive, and capable of growing your own client portfolio
* Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
