Lancashire County Council is recruiting an experienced Adults Social Worker to join their Mental Health Review Team based in Preston. This is a rewarding locum opportunity for a skilled practitioner passionate about supporting adults with mental health needs through high-quality statutory social work.
This role offers fast-start interviews and the chance to work within a well-established countywide service delivering person-centred, strengths-based practice.
The Role
* Managing a caseload of adults with mental health needs
* Completing Mental Health Act reviews and Care Act assessments
* Undertaking statutory reviews, safeguarding enquiries and support planning
* Working collaboratively with health professionals, AMHPs and partner agencies
* Producing clear, timely and high-quality assessments and reports
* Supporting service users to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes
What You\'ll Need
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
* Experience within Adults Mental Health services
* Ability to travel countywide across Lancashire
* Strong knowledge of the Care Act and Mental Health legislation
