Job Overview
We are looking to recruit a Young Persons’ Adviser to work across Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, working with NEET young people aged 16‑18. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution to increasing young people’s participation in EET. Your experience and understanding of the support young people need in order to make a successful transition into education, employment or training will be vital.
Norfolk County Council operates a hybrid working model; we anticipate that working remotely will be a feature of this role, with the office base at Priory House, Kings Lynn. We ask that you have good broadband connectivity.
Responsibilities
* Engage young people using virtual methods and in person to provide Careers Information and Advice.
* Communicate effectively with a range of professionals.
* Work within timescales and achieve outcomes for young people.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience and understanding of the support young people need for successful education, employment or training transitions.
* Excellent IT skills and digital knowledge.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
* Experience working in a hybrid or remote working environment.
