Job Description
Head of Digital Solutions
Teledyne Controls LLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Digital Solutions to lead the growth and sales strategy for our suite of Digital and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. As a senior leader, you will actively shape and execute strategies to define, grow, and promote our suite of aviation information management solutions – expanding our presence across commercial, military and avionics Tier 1/2 OEM markets.
This role blends strategy, business development, program oversight and sales for a critical part of our business and solution offering. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who brings deep experience in defining, integration and sales of Digital solutions and SaaS for the aviation market to expand and complement our intelligent avionics solutions. Our current suite of solutions is centered on avionics information management solutions to support data-driven analysis, predictive maintenance, and connected aircraft applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with Business Development, Technology, and Sales leadership to lead the definition of our Digital Solutions and SaaS vision and strategy in accordance with company financial, growth, and market expansion targets.
* Working with customers, Business Development and Sales and lead the efforts to develop our Digital Solutions and SaaS product definition and roadmaps in accordance with agreed to company strategy and vision.
* Working across the organization, oversee the Digital Solutions and SaaS product development in accordance with agreed to roadmap scope, cost, and schedule requirements.
* Lead product definition and roadmap development in alignment with customer needs and customer goals.
* Develop and execute sales, marketing, and pricing strategies for digital offerings.
* Lead the efforts to promote and present our Digital Solutions and SaaS offerings to customers and partners. Represent Teledyne by speaking and/or supporting key industry events, trade shows, and meetings. This includes the training of customers and partners on our product offerings to support the building of compelling business cases for adoption.
* Interface with Engineering and Product Support teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of our Digital Solutions and SaaS offerings.
* Oversee direct sales development activities for Digital Solutions and SaaS opportunities for both the commercial and government markets.
* Oversee relationships with OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers and third-party vendor relationships for our digital solutions and SaaS offerings and capabilities.
* Oversee local facility operational management in accordance with Teledyne Policies and Procedures.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing, technical or related discipline required. Advanced degree preferred.
* Minimum ten (10) years of experience in aerospace, defense, or avionics industries.
* Proven leadership in Digital Solutions and SaaS product strategy, development and lifecycle management.
* Strong track record of scaling Digital and SaaS products.
* Deep understanding of OEM's and Tier 1/2 market dynamics.
* Hands-on approach to leadership with a drive for execution and customer success.
* Demonstrated leadership ability and business acumen with proven experience of leading high performing teams.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to prepare and conduct presentations for customers and industry events
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and program management.
