Adult & Paediatric Administrator/Crisis Worker – Nottingham
Mountain Healthcare provides specialist healthcare and forensic services to some of the most vulnerable people in society, delivering expert medical care, forensic examinations and compassionate support for individuals who have experienced sexual assault or abuse.
Responsibilities
This role primarily handles administrative support within the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC). Key duties include:
* Manage patient records and administrative processes in line with data protection and safeguarding standards
* Handle incoming calls, emails and referrals with professionalism and empathy
* Coordinate appointments and liaise with police, medical staff, and partner agencies
* Order and manage stock and equipment to ensure smooth service delivery
* Support ISO 15189 and UKAS accreditation processes through accurate record keeping
* Provide a welcoming environment for patients and families, assisting clinicians during examinations when required
Shift hours: 8 hours – 1 am‑9 am, 9 am‑5 pm, 5 pm‑1 am. The service operates 24/7 and requires on‑call duties.
Essential Requirements
* GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent
* Minimum 12 months’ experience in an administrative role
* Knowledge of the health, police or public sector environment
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a multi‑agency setting
* Good interpersonal skills
* IT literate with experience using Word, Excel and Teams
* Understanding of safeguarding
Desirable
* Educated to A Level or NVQ 3
* Experience working with children or young people, either directly or with partner services
