An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a client of ours, a leading Medical Device Company based on the outskirts of Leeds currently looking to recruit a reliable and hands‑on Tissue Harvesting Technician to collect pericardium tissue at approved abattoirs and support the medical device manufacturing process. This is a permanent opportunity to work for a leading international medical device company.
Starting Salary - £27,360 (increase to £29k after probation)
Job Details
* Harvest pericardium tissue following strict work instructions.
* Maintain safe and clean working environments at all times.
* Support process improvements and R&D activities.
* Handle and store materials safely.
* Complete documentation accurately (GDP/GMP).
* Assist with inventory and production support tasks.
* Perform quality checks on work completed.
* Follow all EHS, Health & Safety and GMP requirements.
Qualifications / Skills
* GCSEs or equivalent.
* Full UK drivers licence.
* Experience in abattoirs (advantageous).
* Experience in tissue sourcing or medical device manufacturing (preferred).
* Able to work independently off-site and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
* Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Understanding of GMP/controlled environments.
