The Opportunity: Engineering Manager

The Impact you will have:
* ?????Create a safe and secure working environment with support from the SHEQ advisors.
* Lead motivate and inspire the engineering workforce to achieve high levels of engagement and performance measured through PEAKON EST performance and employee retention.
* Utilize CASPA/VMS to help manage engineers to minimize travel and maximize efficiency.
* Identify and resolve LTR/AIM R&M overspends by use of the tools available, CASPA/Cost Curves/Service Dashboard/CPO and General Business Reports.
* Maintain compliance in all areas, including engineering work, H&S and audits.
* Deliver agreed daily engineering Int/Ext/NP hours targets in line with budget requirements supporting the delivery of the overall Cell P&L.
* With the support of HR, manage areas of absenteeism and sickness in line with company policies.
* Adopt a continuous improvement methodology and support with CI projects to improve business unit performance.
* Lead and Participate in both Communication Cells and Control Tower meetings in line with agreed KPI's
* Create a work environment which will assist Briggs to becoming the employer of choice.
* Support your Senior/Regional Business Engineering Manager to identify Engineer candidates suitable for succession from the team and ensure they have the opportunity to develop via a nominated Briggs program.
* Ensuring regular 1-2-1 meetings are held and recorded in PEFORM with all engineers to create relevant technical and commercial development plans for each individual.
