We’re looking for a Senior Structured Finance Analyst to be responsible for completing monthly Investor Reports for external Investors, Rating Agencies & our Headquarters in Germany, working to tight deadlines. You will also ensure the appropriate accounting treatment, systems, and processes, are understood and in place for the impending regulatory and accounting developments relating to Structured Finance. This analytical role will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of our successful Asset-Backed Security (“ABS”) Programme. This is an important and rewarding role as the ABS Programmes ensure we and our European markets have the funding needed to operate, and ultimately supports our longer-term growth ambitions. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be responsible for completion of the monthly UK and European markets Investor Reports within tight timelines Perform the monthly ‘top up’ process ensuring only eligible assets are sold into ABS deals and, monthly legal documentation and payment requests are accurately produced, signed and issued Monitor pool performance and ABS deal KPIs and update business stakeholders with any issues or trends You’ll respond to investor queries and provide detailed analysis and explanation Complete monthly Bank of England (BoE) & European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) reporting and, other monthly regulatory reports and analysis Prepare monthly and annual accounting posting and reconciliations for inclusion within VWFS accounts You will liaise with external auditors (UK, Luxembourg, & Germany) on team activities and for the SPV’s annual audits and accounts preparation What You’ll Bring You’ll be a key part of the wider Structured Finance Team and able to stay motivated when completing repetitive tasks without losing an eye for attention to detail As a key member of the Structured Finance Team, you’ll thrive in an organised, detail-driven environment where accuracy and consistency are essential Essential Experience & Skills You have financial Services experience and an awareness of Structured Finance Transactions (Discounted Cash Flows) Portfolio analysis experience is essential A good understanding of IFRS would be useful with some progression in an Accounting or Financial qualification such as ACA/ACCA or CIMA being beneficial Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, understand and explain financial data Experience and knowledge of process management and continuous improvement Excellent and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel You can work within strict organisational and regulatory deadlines What’s in it for you?
