The Best Connection is currently recruiting a Laundry Operative to join a busy and well‑established operation.
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to support daily laundry operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all laundry items are cleaned, dried, folded, and presented to a high standard in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Sorting, scanning, loading, and unloading laundry and dust mats into industrial washing and drying machines
* Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
* Inspecting items for stains or damage and treating accordingly
* Folding, packaging, and scanning cleaned laundry items
* Picking driver routes
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
* Following health and safety guidelines at all times
* Reporting any faults or maintenance issues with equipment
* Ensuring daily targets are met in a timely manner

Requirements
* Previous laundry or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
* Good attention to detail
* Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and lift loads
* Strong time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours
* 5‑Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
* 4‑Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm
Pay Rate 12.71ph
