Key Responsibilities: Work in collaboration with Student Support Services/Inclusion to develop and deliver high quality evidence-based intervention programmes for targeted students who are at risk of suspension/exclusion Build positive relationships rooted in mutual respect demonstrating a commitment to supporting all students, including the most challenging Prepare reports and case studies for internal/external stakeholders as required Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions and impact Ensure high quality pastoral and safeguarding record keeping effectively utilising the academy’s data management systems To develop and then embed the physical ‘Reflection & Refocus’ area to become a safe space within school for students Candidates should be able to demonstrate: The successful candidate will: Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understand the operational role and its strategic elements to build outstanding relationships with children, families and professionals. While we are ideally looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in pastoral care within a school, we are open to applications from outstanding candidates with a strong grounding in supporting vulnerable children and families outside of the education sector – for all prospective candidates, a passion for supporting young people, tenacity and a commitment to inclusive practice will be vital for success.
