Hospitality Floor Manager
Contract Catering / Events
Mostly Monday to Friday but some weekend cover required
£40,000.00 per annum - 40 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Hospitality Floor Manager to support the delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services at a prestigious venue with 17 meeting rooms, including a main space seating up to 300 guests.
This is a hands-on role for a very busy operation, ideal for someone passionate about events, food service excellence, and team leadership within a contract catering environment.
As Hospitality Floor Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to lead the catering operation for a wide range of events, conferences, meetings, and formal dinners. You will help ensure seamless service delivery, outstanding customer experience, and efficient team performance.
Key Responsibilities as Hospitality Floor Manager
1. Support the day-to-day management of the hospitality and events catering operation
2. Lead, motivate, and supervise the hospitality team during events and service periods
3. Oversee catering for conferences, meetings, corporate events, and seated dinners
4. Ensure service standards are consistently delivered to a high level
5. Assist with event planning, room set-ups, staffing, and logistics
6. Maintain strong client and venue relationships, acting as a professional point of contact
7. Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards
8. Support stock control, ordering, and cost management
About You
9. Previous experience in hospitality or events management, ideally within contract catering
10. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment
11. Experience delivering conferences, large-scale events, and formal dining
12. Excellent communication and customer service skills
13. Organised, proactive, and able to remain calm under pressure
14. Flexible to work evenings as required by the events calendar
