Your work will underpin a really fun set of products!
The role – specifying, designing and implementing electromechanical solutions for new products and enhancements to current products, producing quality design models and CAD data for our electronic machines.
Key Responsibilities
* Design Development: Deliver high–quality electrical designs
* Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation
* Project Planning & Estimation
* Risk & Planning Input: Contribute proactively to project planning activities, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
* Requirements Analysis: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to extract, interpret, and validate technical requirements
* Change Management: Update and manage the requirements documentation
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* 3D CAD expertise (preferably SolidWorks)
* Understanding of design for manufacturing and value engineering processes
* Hands on approach to workshop prototyping
* Experience of Oracle MRP Manufacturing & Agile PLM
