Our client is a friendly accountancy practice who is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their supportive and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some bookkeeping or finance experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional practice environment.

Key Responsibilities as a Bookkeeper:
* Assisting with bookkeeping duties for a variety of clients
* Processing financial data from client records into accounting software accurately and efficiently
* Supporting the preparation of accounts to trial balance stage for review by senior team members
* Assisting with VAT Return preparation and submission
* Providing administrative and bookkeeping support to the wider team
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting team objectives
Skills and Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a practice environment
* At least 1-year recent experience in a bookkeeping, accounts assistant, finance assistant or similar role
* Confident using accounting software e.g. Xero
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and a professional approach
* A willingness to learn and develop within an accountancy practice
