Account Manager | Pharma Marketing | Berkshire | £39k - £45k
Overview
We’re working with one of the UK’s leading independent healthcare agencies, known for delivering high-quality, scientifically sound, and creatively engaging campaigns. They’re currently looking for a proactive, organised, and commercially-minded Account Manager to join their growing team.
This is a critical role within the agency’s Client Services function—viewed internally as the engine room of the business. You’ll act as both the face of the agency to clients and the client’s representative within the agency. With four days per week spent in the office, collaboration, responsiveness, and leadership are key.
The Role
You’ll manage day-to-day client relationships and project execution across a range of pharmaceutical campaigns—from sales aids and speaker decks to webinars and medical education programmes. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to an excellent standard, with the support of senior team members.
You’ll also play a central role in:
* Driving operational excellence and removing friction in delivery
* Maintaining a high standard of communication with clients and internal teams
* Contributing to strategic thinking and commercial growth on your accounts
* Delivering “zero moments of dissatisfaction” as a core standard
What They’re Looking For
* 2–4+ years of experience in a healthcare/pharma agency setting
* Strong project management and client-facing skills
* Commercially aware with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
* A team player with strong organisational and financial tracking skills
* Interest in scientific communications, with a working understanding of ABPI
