What will you be doing?
* Producing Monthly Accounts for overhead cost centres.
* Assisting in the preparation of cost centre budgets and forecasts.
* Reconciling and processing prepayments, accruals, and standard charges.
* Managing company-paid credit cards.
* Performing Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Completing national statistics returns.
* Overseeing and assisting in bank account reconciliations.
* Ensuring year-end schedules for tax packs are completed monthly.
* Reconciling PSA for correct calculation and HMRC submissions.
* Reconciling inter-company accounts monthly with group companies.
* Preparing VAT returns quarterly.
* Processing ad hoc payment requests.
* Assisting in the preparation of Statutory Accounts and Tax Packs.
* Processing intercompany journals.
* Replenishing and reconciling petty cash.
* Managing fixed asset accounts and producing management reports.
* Managing capital approval processes in line with policies.
What skills are we looking for?
* Studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
* Proficient in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, PivotTables).
* Experience in a similar role with balance sheet reconciliations.
