Job Title: Maintenance Professional
This role is ideal for a skilled individual who can effectively maintain, repair and install equipment as part of a main team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out fault-finding and rectification tasks on electrical and mechanical systems and ancillary equipment.
* Install, maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure optimal performance of all assets.
* Demonstrate ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
* Maintain a general knowledge and participate in training and knowledge sessions on wastewater treatment processes.
* Actively participate in risk assessments, COSHH assessments and related health and safety issues.
* Identify problematic plant and take part in finding efficient solutions to return equipment to working order.
* Identify requirements for spares and materials using preferred suppliers.
* Complete job cards and timesheets for monitoring workload and performance.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified electrician with compliance to 17th Edition IEE regulations.
* Full UK driving license.
* Excellent understanding of planning and scheduling of work processes.
* Ability to develop positive working relationships and be seen as a credible representative of the team.
* Ability to take responsibility, make decisions and use initiative.
