Are you an experienced paediatric dietitian looking for a new challenge?
We have an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to join our team as a Paediatric Dietitian at SASH. The post is part-time (18.75 hours) and permanent. You will be joining a highly motivated, experienced, and friendly team of adult and paediatric dietitians and dietetic assistants.
You will work as the core paediatric diabetes dietitian with a specialist dietetic team of a 0.5 senior paediatric diabetes dietitian and a 0.4 paediatric diabetes assistant. You will also work closely with the Paediatric and Transition Diabetes MDT at SASH, which includes specialist paediatricians, nurses, administration, and a psychologist, as well as access to youth workers and play therapists.
This role supports the wider paediatric dietetic team and may occasionally require general paediatric dietetic work, such as covering the cystic fibrosis caseload.
The post involves working with inpatients and outpatients, as SASH holds the local service for paediatric diabetes. There may be travel to Crawley and Horsham Hospitals, as well as school and home visits.
We offer an established CPD and Journal Club programme in Dietetics, with access to local supervision and national networks. You will be encouraged and supported to continue your CPD, including in specialist areas.
